November 14, 2025Nov 14 Hi,Really odd issue here.I have 2 VPNs setup on unraid. One is Wireguard, and the other is tailscale. Using either one, I can access unraid using both IP address, or using the local hostname (tower.local, etc).I can also access other servers on my home network, including my unifi router, and my remote desktop machine.I also have a secondary wireguard VPN setup on my unifi dream machine. When connected via that VPN, I can access my local network just fine (router itself, my other machines, etc) but I can't access Unraid at all. It doesn't matter if I use the unraid IP or the local domain, it doesn't connect. The same goes for SSH/SMB, it only works if I'm connected via tailscale or wireguard running ON unraid. All the other networking stuff on my unraid server works fine. I have a reverse proxy setup, I can access my actual domain from anywhere on or off either VPN. It's super fast, I don't see any weird connection issues. The only issue is accessing unraid directly (SMB, SSH, webUI, or docker containers). This can ONLY be done via my unraid VPNs.Does anyone know why? This has to be 100% an unraid config issue. I just recovered my setup and before, my older unraid server was fully accessible via any VPN I had setup.
