Featured Replies

I cannot figure out why I'm getting so slow write speeds on a new parity drive I have installed. Can someone help me out?

Thanks

That is not the diags, please post the complete zip, see the link for diagnostics if you don't know how to get them.

I edited the original post and added them. When I go to edit the post it shows the zip file, but doesn't show it when I'm not editing. Strange. I will post it here.

Thanks

Diags only show reads from one disk going on, run the diskspeed container test, both the disk and controller tests.

The parity finished in a couple of days. I noticed that when it got past the 12 GB mark the write speeds sped up to about 100-120. That makes me think it is definitely reads. I added a new 2.5 Gbe NIC and I'm currently moving data from a ReiferFS disc to change the file system. I will update the thread when I'm not writing or reading on the drives.

Thanks for the help!
