December 21, 2025Dec 21 I frequently cannot connect to my server, and I can't even ping its IP address. Restarting the server solves the problem, but it reappears the next day. I've tried shutting down all Docker containers and virtual machines, but the problem persists. The logs before the reboot always end after unraid emhttpd: read SMART and unraid emhttpd: spinning down. For example, the time points Dec 20 16:16:22 and Dec 20 12:53:38 in the log. syslog-127.0.0.1.log unraid-diagnostics-20251221-1511.zip

Additionally, look in the BIOS for a "Global C-States" or similar setting and disable that to retest, it's been known to be a problem with some boards, with both Intel and AMD CPUs.
