April 6Apr 6 Originally reported it here (https://product.unraid.net/p/unable-to-replace-disk-encryption-key ) but they told me to make a forum post here so here i amI am still trying to replace the encryption passphrase on my machine with a encryption keyfile (since using the password written to a file no longer works for newer systems ). However when trying to do that in the settings does not work. It appears to do nothing in the webpage, and a csrf token error is logged in the syslog.Doesn't work even in safe mode, i've attached those diagnostics as well. I've tried on 2 different machines now and it doesn't work on either of them. Just straight connecting over ip and port, no reverse proxy or anything in between vault-safemode-diagnostics-20260406-1329.zip
April 6Apr 6 Community Expert Are you entering the passphrase using the GUI or using some kind of automation?

April 6Apr 6 Community Expert Assuming you have already tried a different browser, it could be a config problem. You can do a quick test by redoing the flash drive, backup the current one first and then recreate it using the USB tool and just restore the bare minimum, like the key, super.dat and the pools folder for the assignments, also copy the docker user templates folder (\config\plugins\dockerMan\templates-user), if all works you can then reconfigure the server or try restoring a few config files at a time from the backup to see if you can find the culprit.
May 24May 24 Author made a new usb drive when updating to unraid 7.3, only kept the disk assignments and share configs. no plugins, no docker, none of that. this did not fix the issue. i am still unable to change the encryption key
May 25May 25 Community Expert Does the original passphrase contain any special characters? You can also send a PM with it, or a very similar one that contains the same ones, so that I can test just to make sure it's not that.
May 25May 25 Community Expert You can also try this: https://forums.unraid.net/topic/193798-plugin-encrypted-drive-manager/
May 25May 25 Author looking at the passwords the do all contain the & special character, maybe that is messing with the http request? but unlocking works fine
