VM keeps stopping

Sometimes, I am getting the error message "internal error: process exited while connecting to monitor". But then sometimes it just restarts, runs for a while, and then keeps stopping again. Thoughts?

Diagnostic log attached!

Your diagnostics show that the server runs out of memory and kills the Windows VM process:

Out of memory: Killed process ... (qemu-system-x86)

This happens repeatedly, both during startup and while the VM is running. It explains the “process exited while connecting to monitor” error.

The host has approximately 32 GB of RAM, with 16 GiB assigned to the VM. At the failures, RoonAppliance alone uses approximately 8.5–10.9 GiB, alongside your other services.

As a first test, temporarily stop Roon, then start and use the VM with its current settings. Please report whether it remains stable.

If it still stops, attach fresh diagnostics immediately afterward and note the failure time. If it stays stable, we can review the combined memory usage before choosing permanent changes.
