Hi All

im trying to figure out if its smarter to move to new hardware or stick with my current, im fairly confident moving is the play but want to get other opinions.

current has ecc but new wouldn't, sever is sitting at 14gb ram being used without any vms running, would probably only end up having just 1 anyway.

Current:

dual Xeon® CPU E5-2670 v2

Z9PE-D8 WS

128gb ddr3 ecc

new hardware:

core ultra 7 270k plus

32gb ddr5 6000

Gigabyte Z890 EAGLE

Reasons to stay with current:

plenty of ram and ecc

more cpu cores even though they are alot slower

reasons to move to new hardware

lower power draw(by alot)

IGPU for jellyfin so no gpu needed (more power save)

alot faster overall (both cpu and ram)

4 slots for m.2's
