Tailscale + Syncthing = NO WebUI

Featured Replies

Hi folks !!!

If I enable "Tailscale" on Syncthing container options y CAN'T access WebUI.
If I disable Tailscale then I have no problem accessing and logging Syncthing WebUI container.

Any idea what can cause it and how to solve?

It's has to be specific on this server at home as I have the same erver at work and I have no problem there.

Both servers on Unraid 7.3.2 with Tailscale integration.

Thankyou !!!

Are you opening Syncthing through its normal WebUI link or its Tailscale WebUI link?

Compare Network Type and Tailscale Userspace Networking between the two servers. Also mention whether the affected container uses an exit node.

With bridge networking and userspace networking disabled, the original WebUI address can become unavailable. That could explain the difference between your servers.

With Tailscale enabled, try the container’s Tailscale WebUI from a device connected to the same Tailscale network.

If that also fails, please provide:

• The exact browser error.

• The Syncthing image/repository you use.

• Whether the previous local address still works when entered directly.

• The container startup log, including the Tailscale and Syncthing messages. Remove authentication links, tokens, and personal details before posting.

These checks will help distinguish an access-path problem from a container startup failure.
