[SOLVED]Unraid 7.0.1 Array will not start

Featured Replies

Today I upgraded to release 7.0.1 from 6.8.3 using the Update OS option under the Tools menu. The update appeared to go through successfully and I received a message to reboot the server.

Upon reboot I was unable to start the array, the error message received was "Wrong Pool State cache - too many wrong or missing devices". All of my disks are showing as offline on the Main menu screen.

Under Pool Devices I have Cache listed with a status of Unassigned. I do not have a cache drive so this is expected.

What could be causing this error?

Remove that pool, click on it and then "remove pool"

That worked but the method to remove the pool was slightly different. I had to select the pool then set the slot number to 0.
