Problem noticed: BUGFIX required

Featured Replies

Problem I noticed recently.

After stopping the array, if a process is active on one of the mount points, the file system does not get unmounted.

The user interface shows the drive as unformatted.

I believe this to be a problem waiting to happen whereby someone accidentally formats their drive.

Ideally, a fuser should be done to kill any active processes on the filesystem

and/or proper reporting of the filesystem;s status should be fixed.

indeed I have noticed this from the first day (as I happened more than once to be in a folder within a mounted disk and tried to stop the array)

if you know what happened, you easily "fix" it (start array again, move away and then stop) - but I agree with you, system should be WAY more stupid-proof
