NAS
Ive started porting the release notes to the wiki. Its a pet hate of mine that the release note posts in the forum are invariably full of ramblings. For me a release note is just that and no more. So its started here: http://lime-technology.com/wiki/index.php?title=Release_Notes Even the raw info isnt all in there yet and its getting very lenghty. Any clever ideas? Options i see: A summary of releases in a table with dates and a link to seperate pages per release. A huge long list (the traditional way) Something else. I also have considered stadardinsing the format with something like. *Bug fix -Removed feature +Added feature etc But that might be work for works sake. Wither way i need ideas and i will definately need help with this one as its alot of content. Quote Link to comment
Joe L.
I like it the way you have it. I often have a hard time remembering when a bug was fixed, and when a user posts a problem with an older version, I have to dig to know how to guide them. This will make it easier. If it gets too long at some point, you can break out the older releases to a separate page. Joe L. Quote Link to comment
WeeboTech
It's satisfactory the way it is. The labels *Bug fix -Removed feature +Added feature etc Are a plus! Quote Link to comment
