BigErn77 Posted July 18, 2012 Share Posted July 18, 2012 Why with unRAID is it that the number of parity drives required to secure the data on the data storage drives doesn't scale with the number of data drives? Why, if say 1 parity drive is needed to support 2 drives, is only 1 drive necessary still to support even 10 data storage drives? I'm sorry but I don't understand the basics I guess.
