gavintapp
I have been using a timemachine share to backup one machine for about 4 months. I'd like to backup another machine to my unraid server. Should I use the existing timemachine share (though make it bigger) or use a new share? Is it possible to resize a timemachine share? Also - is there a good guide for setting up timemachine on unraid? I looked for ages this afternoon and couldn't find anything. I'm using 5.0 rc-4 Quote Link to comment
dgaschk
Make a new share if you want to control how much space each is used for each computer. Quote Link to comment
gavintapp
Thanks dgaschk, I can do that - but I wonder if you can point me to the best guide for doing this? The wiki seems to be missing this info. Do I just create the new share in the admin menu, or do I still need to do stuff with a sparsebundle? Quote Link to comment
dgaschk
Just make a new share and enable TM for it. Limit the share size as desired. Quote Link to comment
