mcs
I've been performing incremental/versioned backups with SyncBackSE to unRAID for many years. It works very well. http://www.2brightsparks.com/syncback/sbse.html Link to comment

Johnm
If you don't mind a straight directory copy and are looking for the price of FREE, you can always use RoboCopy along with the windows task scheduler to back up at certain times. It has a the ability to only copy files that have changed. It also has a mirror option to erase files that you have deleted on your desktop (I usually run a mirror once every two weeks to get rid of stuff I have erased). Link to comment

Harpz
Hi I've been using FreeFileSync for years now with out issues. http://sourceforge.net/projects/freefilesync/ It allows you to create batch jobs that can sync directories between my main computer to my mirrored D-Link Share Centre (Unraid has just replaced this) and an external USB drive I use only for backups. These batch jobs can be run with a double click so if you want to sync 1 directory you just run the bach file for that sync or they can be merged together so you can have it sync several directories in one click. Best of all it will only sync what's changed, thus saving time, it also has a version control system that will save the files in replaces in date named folders so you can always revert back which is nice feature for the important files.
