Can you PreClear a disk (using Joe's excellent PreClear script) on an UnRAID v5 system for use in one running v4.7?

Yes.

No difference between the unRAID versions, the preclear signature is primarily based on the disk size.

Thanks Joe -- I had assumed as much but just wanted to be sure.    My v5 system has a couple of free hot-swap slots, so it's very simple to pop in a drive to do a pre-clear.    The v4.7 system requires opening the case to install additional drives -- so it's much simpler to confirm they're okay using the v5 system.
