August 30, 200817 yr Don't add only support for just 2 ethernet cards, add channelbonding option. It's just an idea that popped up. I know Intel cards can do it driver-based, it would be great if the Unraid-box supported 2000Mbit/s. The best performance gain is double the performance ! I think the best way to improve write-performance is too expand ethernet bandwidth with the use of a big SATA cache disk.

January 14, 201412 yr If you find someone getting 100MB/sec writes in Unraid, let me know. I get sustained 285MB/sec.... no multi-nic bonding needed.
