sgt_spike Posted January 6, 2013 Share Posted January 6, 2013 I have a new windows 8 laptop on my network attached wired (can be wifi also). I have two other win 7 laptops attached to the network by wifi. the windows 7 pcs can access all shares and even see Tower in network places. The win 8 pc does not see the tower in network places. I can access the tower with \\ipaddress but not see the shares. I have all the firewalls off and still nothing. This might be a basic network setup but I don't seem to know what settings to fix.
