quick question about cache drive

Featured Replies

thinking of trying out using the cache drive again witht the new 4.4, one of the main things i'm hoping to do is, have a folder on it to have my downloads going into and not be excluded from being moved to the main array, not until the files are finished downloading and extracted and i move it over into say a folder on the drive ready to me moved?

I don't quite understand your request, but hopefully this helps.

All files and folders that have a . as the first character are excluded from the mover script.

I believe recently additional code was put in the mover script to skip files that are in an open state.

I was playing with rtorrent recently to download files to one directory, then upon completion move them to another directory.

Is this the type of logc you are planning to use?

pretty much yes, but it will be mostly usenet rather then torrents, but same consept, will be a heap of rar files being downloaded, then there extracted and then i can move them into the correct user share ready for moving.. so basily i just need to make a ".xxxx" folder and it won't be touched
