I'm gonna grab one and see how it works. Reviews look good and the badging appears to be hitachi.

If it is, this is a good deal. The bare drive was on sale last week for $114.99. $5 dollars extra for this one gets you another full year of warranty (2 years versus 3 on this retail box)

I just wish I had the money right now.  Never seem to have it when they are on sale.

Received mine today.  It is a retail boxed DT01ACA300.  Will see how it does after a few pre-clear cycles.

Nice. Wish I had waited a week to get the extra year warranty for $5 bucks. I ordered the bare drive the week before for $115.

I wish either would come back.  I got my tax refund now - before I have to spend it on something else.

First pre-clear cycle complete, no problems yet.  Done in about 26.5 hours.  Not bad compared to the last WD30EZRX I pre-cleared which took 29 hours.  Full speed vs. green I guess.
