For all intents and purposes it is out. There's no reason not to upgrade to RC12a.

 

I agree and disagree. I have some critical data on my array and would feel much more comfortable upgrading when Tom releases a final version. They are called Beta for a reason, and even though I've read through the 12a release thread I've jumped into beta's before and had issues.

My mistake, though the point still holds. It's not final for a reason IMO.
