WeeboTech Posted October 29, 2008 Share Posted October 29, 2008 Be diligent with the rebate procedure. I've had rebates whereby Hitachi refused them. I knew I followed the instructions to the letter. On one rebate they said I sent it too late, yet the email they sent to me was the date of the last possible receipt, which sort of proves they received it within the right time. I.E. If rebate has to be received by the 15th and they send an email on the 15th am saying they received it past the date Quote Link to comment
Romir Posted October 30, 2008 Share Posted October 30, 2008 This is the most power hungry, hottest, and has the lowest density platters of any 1tb drive. That should make it the last choice for anyone. I just sold mine after owning it for ten months and am glad it isn't dumping its heat into my other drives anymore. Quote Link to comment
