May 17, 201313 yr Hello. I've been having this problem watching videos on XBMC (openelec) that often when I start the video the audio will start for a second with no picture, then the audio cuts out and the screen turns green and just freezes so that there's no way to get out except to hold the power button down and restart. The last time it happened I captured this from the XBMC log: 07:13:36 T:140694580610816 WARNING: CRenderManager::FlipPage - timeout waiting for previous frame 07:13:43 T:140694336567040 WARNING: Previous line repeats 1 times. 07:13:43 T:140694336567040 WARNING: CDVDMessageQueue(audio)::Get - asked for new data packet, with nothing available 07:13:48 T:140694580610816 WARNING: CRenderManager::FlipPage - timeout waiting for previous frame 07:13:48 T:140694336567040 WARNING: CDVDMessageQueue(audio)::Get - asked for new data packet, with nothing available So it sounds like the network connection between the HTPC and the server must be dropping out, right? If so, how do I go about identifying exactly why this is happening so I can fix it? The server is a new build and my one apprehension about the board I got (ASUS C60M1-I) was the Realtek NIC since I'd read a lot of folks had problems with those in the past (though I also understood that the latest versions of unRAID largely fixed that problem for most people). Is there a particular unRAID log or diagnotic I could use to know whether that's the problem? Appreciate any guidance on this and let me know if there's any other info I can provide.
May 17, 201313 yr Author Forgot to mention I'm running 5.0-rc12a and I've attached my syslog too. There's nothing in it that corresponds to the timing of the of last green screen freeze from the XBMC log posted above but hopefully someone more knowledgeable might be able to glean something from it anyway. syslog_5-17-13.zip
