Hello I will be moving to a supermicro X9SRA mother board and it has dual NIC connections. I can disable one but I was wondering if some one knows how easy it will be to use or set up.

I would like if possible step by step to set it up. mainly I would like the second network card to be connected to a different switch on the same network with a different or same ip address based on how it is supposed to be used as a fail safe in case something is using the main network connection to much.

    The latest several releases allow the configuration of  second NIC in the unRAID GUI.
