December 3, 200817 yr Just an update for anybody else who runs across this post. Here is what I did to fix the problem - Well...I think it's fixed anyway 1 - I updated to UnRAID. See http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=2235.0 for update instructions. The only trouble I had with upgrading is that the upgrade included a file that overwrote the name of my server and workgroup with defaults. I would recommend creating a backup of your flash drive, (luckily I did) and using a compare program to compare the files, (I used Beyond Compare 3) to easily find the configuration files that are different, and port your old settings over to the flash drive. Per the release notes, you only needed to replace two files. Neither had the name of your server in them... Sounds like you unzipped the entire distribution to the flash drive. If you are currently running unRAID Server 4.2-beta1 or higher (including 4.2.x 'final'), please copy the following files from the new release to the root of your Flash device: bzimage bzroot Regardless, glad you are back up and running. Anyway, many many many thanks for all the help. I have learned a ton, and you guys have been extremely patient with me. Have fun with my unmenu.awk script. Although originally written to server as a rapid-development platform to see how the supplied management-interface could be improved, it has turned out to be a great tool for monitoring the array health.
