No longer that price on Amazon, but it is available for $99.99 w/ FS after promo code EMCXNVR25

Amazon has now price matched your Newegg link so the original link shows the same 99.99 on Amazon now.

Now sold out at both Newegg and Amazon.

Newegg still shows in stock when I click on the link just like the Amazon link.  However Amazon is now 119.99 and only 15 left and not sure if Newegg's is higher price now as well or not.  Wonder if the listing on Newegg is wrong never tried to add it to a cart and apply the promo code.  Amazon's definately increased their price.  OK I see it is from Tiger direct now not amazon.  Hopefully the Newegg link is still valid.

When I clicked on the Newegg link yesterday it showed "Sold Out", but it's back in stock now. Maybe they got another shipment in.

With Amazon, they allow other companies to sell under the same product listing (and apparently to have the same product under many other listings), so when they sell out or another company's price is lower that will be shown as the seller rather than Amazon.

However, Amazon will still be listed under "More buying choices" and you used to be able to select Amazon and get the lower price when they were sold out if you were willing to wait (usually 1 to 2 weeks), but that wasn't the case when I checked yesterday.

It's also back in stock now at Amazon, I see.

Is this a normal Segate drive inside then? No issues or speacial things you have to do to use it with Unraid?

You have to open it up (there are videos on the web), although you can remove the bottom and plug it into a standard SATA and power connector to attach it and pre-clear it.

If you open it, you may void the warranty.

Seems the case on these are a little different the the video I saw showing how to open. Plus the one video I did see looks like a royal pain, I may just use the 30 second method and destroy it !!!

I did get the drive today from Amazon. Going to use it to transgfer a bunch of data from the server to a PC first before I open it up and preclear it.

Just now ordered one from Amazon for the $99.99 + FS  :D
