November 1, 201312 yr Unraid 4.7 has been a pretty successful trial run for me. I now want to move to 5.0 since it is final. Here is a tutorial I found http://lime-technology.com/wiki/index.php/Migrating_from_unRAID_4.7_to_unRAID_5.0 My question is, is this really as simple as ..... - formatting the flash drive (after backing it up of course) - Installing Unraid 5.0 - Log into web interface - Reassign drives to appropriate slots - Reinstall needed apps I run very few apps... Virtualbox, Sickbeard, SabNZB, Unmenu, and maybe a couple others I am forgetting. My plan is to just Reinstall Virtualbox and Unmenu when finished. Some questions I have are, am I missing something? And is it a valid precaution to remove all my drives first? Or should I keep my config file from my flashdrive so that my disks are remembered? thanks
November 1, 201312 yr That's all you do -- HOWEVER, run a parity check before you do it, just to be sure you don't have any issues with your array before you migrate.
