Haenchensd
I have a disk that keeps getting spun up when I'm not using it and am trying to find the source. So, I would appreciate some help with an strace installation. I've downloaded strace 4.8 for slackware and gotten it installed, but when I try to run it I get "GLIBC_2.15 not found". Should I be using a different version or do you have other tips for me? Thanks. Quote Link to comment
jevans04
What plugins have you installed? Do you have a cache disk for your plugins or are they installed on the array? (For example, Plex will constantly write/update files keeping the disk it is installed on spun up). Quote Link to comment
DaleWilliams
Post a syslog if you're not sure. There are incompatible plug-ins, and some that-by design- will spin up disks every few minutes. Syslog: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=9880.0 Quote Link to comment
dgaschk
There is an inotfywait package in unmenu that can be installed on its own. Quote Link to comment
