Looks to me like Plex is the issue, at least from the info you have provided.  Try disabling it and see if you get a repeat.

What are your PAR2, nice, IONice parameters under switches in sab?

They are blank currently. Multicore par2 is checked but the default parms are blank.  Any recommendations?

Maybe I should update my addon - was not aware influencer added the par2cmdline TBB package.

Anyway, if you have the multicore par2 package, 'Extra PAR2 Parameters' "-t0" is a good start.

Nice Parameters: "-n10"

IONice Parameters: "-c2 -n4"

These are explained in the sab wiki and are the suggested defaults if enabled.  I'm running sab 0.7.16.  Those should help calm things down with plex, but shall see.  Ticking the 'pause download during post-processing' should help as well.

Interestingly enough as soon as I provided parameters the multicore par2 option became unchecked. In both cases it was greyed out, so the assumption is that I must only have the single core version. I'll see if I can find the multicore version and give it a go.

EDIT: I checked and it looks like I have the multi-core version of par2, but for some reason I cannot check the multi-core par2 box.  Is it greyed out for you as well?

I looked at Influencer's plugin and he is using the TBB par2 which was compiled by prostuff @ greenleaf.  Executing 'par2' at command line verifies it is the multicore version.  Not sure if sab is detecting the binary correctly and not sure if the -t0 is being passed from sab since the multicore line is greyed out.
