I've tried the following without success: smb://192.168.1.9/disk1/EMAIL%20BACKUP smb://tower.local/disk1/EMAIL%20BACKUP //tower.local/disk1/EMAIL%20BACKUP Thanks in advance for your help! DaleWilliams Posted February 22, 2014 Share Posted February 22, 2014 If you still need an answer to your permission issue, Take the [solved] off the title, otherwise the unix gurus will go on by. Did you run the Permissions fix? Go to Utils/New Permissions and execute that utility to change file ownership and permission settings. This is necessary for proper operation of the 5.0 security model. You may also have a login/password issue local to Ubuntu...I can't help with that, sorry. Quote Link to comment
