April 7, 201412 yr This should be relatively simple, but I am having trouble getting this done. I've successfully installed the Crashplan plugin on my unraid server and now I am trying to set it up so that my important shares (family_photos etc) can get automatically backed up to Crashplan Central's Cloud. The issue that I am running into is setting up an SSH tunnel from my Mac to my unraid (192.168.1.10) via terminal. I've already changed the properties.ui file to include servicePort=4243 But whenever I invoke: ssh -L 4200:localhost:4243 [email protected] I get the error, ssh: connect to host 192.168.1.10 port 22: Connection refused unraid seems to have SSH installed (in other words, I can type SSH on the unraid prompt and get stuff from the help menu for SSH command). There is also an /etc/ssh folder with stuff installed in it. I'm not certain whether this means that SSH is already installed. Can someone advise me as to why I am getting a connection refused from my unraid server whenever I try to SSH into it? What else could I be missing? Thank you!
April 7, 201412 yr Author @eroz I do have a root username and password set up. So i don't think that's the issue.
April 7, 201412 yr connection refused means that either your unraid dont open that port (openssh is not installed) or firewall blocking. Have you try look at the unmenu package again? it seems that openssh package wont be re-install upon reboot without some tweak.
April 7, 201412 yr Author I am not sure that OpenSSH is installed. How do I do that? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
