April 20, 201412 yr I am running unraid 6.0 b4 and every night between midnight and morning I have problems that clobber my Transmission downloads which run between 2-8 am. I have Transmission,Subsonic,Plex and CrashPlan running in a Ubuntu VM. I am stumped as it occurs every night. The Vm is allocated 2 out of 4 of my servers RAM and is given 2 vcpu. I have attached a syslog via dropbox becasuse the forum upload file folder is full. Syslog time is off by 3 hours by the way. Kryspy
April 21, 201412 yr If the problem is memory related, check and see if Plex is running then. They added overnight tasks to the Plex-pass builds. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
April 21, 201412 yr Author I redid the UbuntuVM setup yesterday and only installed Plex. This morning everything is fine. If I am running out of memory while torrenting I think it may be the fact that unRAID is running out of memory as it is doing the writing on top of the VM active dowloading. Make sense? At any rate I am going to go out and buy another 4GB of RAM today and add it to the existing 4 GB. As of this afternoon I decided to build a new server vs spending money on legacy RAM. See signature below. I have assigned 8 GB of RAM to the VM so I hope that takes care of it. Kryspy
April 22, 201412 yr Author Problem seems to have not shown itself this morning. New build and 16 GB of RAM took care of it I guess Kryspy
