Help getting email working

I've got 5.0.5 installed on my new unRaid and I've been working on getting everything configured using IPMI. NTP is working as well as SMB and AFP. I think DNS is working but I don't know how to verify that. Didn't get an error when I saved the settings though. For some reason I can't get email to work. I entered all settings for SMTP but when I try sending a test notification I get a message that it was sent but I never receive it. I'm not sure what the problem is? I tried alternate SMTP ports with no luck. Any ideas?

    Chrome (Android)
    1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
    2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.
    3. Adjust your preference.
    Chrome (Desktop)
    1. Click the padlock icon in the address bar.
    2. Select Site settings.
    3. Find Notifications and adjust your preference.
