August 20, 201411 yr I'm a windows guy and the linux directory stuff is really confusing me! I'm adding a cache drive tonight and would like to use docker for a lot of things I currently run on a htpc but after reading thru some of the posts here I'm confused about how unraid\docker directory are specified in config files /mnt/cache/appdata - this is where all the appdata stuff will reside on the cache drive. on my server I have a share Movies, and i'll want to copy movies there after downloading. on my current setup couch potato is running on a windows pc, so I point it at \\server\movies in the config file, how would I specify this in docker? I'm thinking /mnt/user/movies is that correct? another question, I've looked at the quick start and checked out the docker extension plugin, after setting up a couch potato container, it will be assigned the servers IP with a port, and I'm assuming I assign couch potato the same port in it's config and that's how I will access the interface? I'm sure that's obvious to someone familiar with docker but as someone that's never used it the tutorial explains how to install it but not how to access what you've installed.

Make sure you set the appdata share to cache-only or mover will move it to the array. on my server I have a share Movies, and i'll want to copy movies there after downloading. on my current setup couch potato is running on a windows pc, so I point it at \\server\movies in the config file, how would I specify this in docker?
