Joe L.
didn't want to start another thread, but this is unrelated. Google is your friend. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Self-Monitoring,_Analysis,_and_Reporting_Technology#Known_ATA_S.M.A.R.T._attributes It tells you your drive increased in temperature 2 degrees, from 30 to 32 degrees, and that the raw statistics collected over time changed for several other parameters. (since they are "rate" values, they will change over time) It might ;) indicate you did not read the line: note, some 'raw' values may change, but not be an indication of a problem I personally would not replace the drive because it got 2 degrees warmer when used for a few hours... Your full report show 6 reallocated sectors, but that did not change in the preclear. They were there before you started. I would run a few more preclear cycles, and if the value stays as is, use the drive in the array. If the reallocated sector count starts to increase, consider getting it replaced. Many times, after the few bad sectors are identified, it will stay as is. I've got one old drive with 100 reallocated sectors, but they have been there from before I ran any smart tests and have not changed in over a year since I found out they existed. It sees daily use in my array. Joe L. Quote Link to comment
SSD
It is telling you it is fine to add the drive to your array. Quote Link to comment
