September 4, 201411 yr Like others, i have problems restoring after s3 sleep. The server goes to sleep, as it should, but it never really wakes up again. After i send the magic packet, the hdd, fan etc. begins to spin, also the power led lit up. But my network link led, never turns back on. There is no webGUI, no ssh, no active screen on the GFX.... no nothing. The only thing i can do is to do a hard reset, then everything works fine again. I have read a lot of threads, tried a lot of things, but all with no luck. /etc/s3_sleep.conf -C 1 -a -A -m 30 -l -L -e eth0 -F -w g -D 0 ethtool eth0 Supported ports: [ TP ] Supported link modes: 10baseT/Half 10baseT/Full 100baseT/Half 100baseT/Full 1000baseT/Full Supports auto-negotiation: Yes Advertised link modes: 10baseT/Half 10baseT/Full 100baseT/Half 100baseT/Full 1000baseT/Full Advertised pause frame use: No Advertised auto-negotiation: Yes Speed: 1000Mb/s Duplex: Full Port: Twisted Pair PHYAD: 0 Transceiver: internal Auto-negotiation: on MDI-X: Unknown Supports Wake-on: pumbg Wake-on: g Current message level: 0x00000033 (51) Link detected: yes my system System Overview unRAID Version: unRAID Server Plus, Version 5.0.5 Motherboard: ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. - E35M1-I Processor: AMD E-350 @ 1.6 GHz Cache: L1-Cache = 128 kB (max. 128 kB) L2-Cache = 1024 kB (max. 1024 kB) Memory: 8192 MB (max. 8 GB) A1_BANK0 = 4096 MB, 1333 MHz A1_BANK1 = No Module Installed, Unknown 4096 MB = 8 GB, A1_BANK0 = Unknown, Network: eth0: 1000Mb/s - Full Duplex I'am running unRaid 5.0.5 32-bit on a 64-bit system. September 6, 201411 yr One of the worst replies to a thread ever: stick with it. I had given up a few times over the years on getting WOL working on my unraid, and though I cannot recall what eventually did it, but I eventually figured it out. Obviously BIOS settings and unraid GUI settings were tweeked, but that's all I've got for you. Probably had updated the BIOS along the way also.
September 8, 201411 yr Author Do you have access to the machine? Can you wake it with the keyboard? No, there is no access to the machine whatsoever, after the wol packet is send. It looks like the machine is running, but its not. One of the worst replies to a thread ever: stick with it. I switch to unRaid, after running openmediavault for years. I had the same problem with omv, but i manage to get it working after some various tries, but now i can't rember what i did. In my bios i have enabled "power on by pme".
