To solve this, firstly, I watched a youtube video with a title that described my problem. It was in Russian but I could see that by taking the mobo out of the case, there' started to work. Then I received some great help from megalodon. I changed to slower memory and that helped fix it further. Lastly, I added the following to the /boot/syslinux/syslinux.cfg file... acpi=off nolapic noapic to the end of the line ... append initrd=bzroot so it looks like this ... append initrd=bzroot acpi=off nolapic noapic

 

 

 

So glad you finally sorted it out. Be aware though if you turned off ACPI it may affect if you ever try and turn off with the power button on the server case. I'm sure I read an article about it on the unraid forum.
