September 11, 201411 yr Hello all, this is my first post on forum, I have been running unRAID with 6 drives since 2012, But now I need to expand the drive capacity. So I need help with confirming if the LSI MegaRAID® SAS 9267-8i RAID Controller is supported by unRAID v5. And if so what do I need to do to install it. Any help highly appriciated. September 11, 201411 yr Welcome on the unRAID forums. Chances are very low that this card is running with unRAID out of the box. It is a RAID card and uses the LSISAS2208 chip and AFAIK there is no similar HBA from LSI where you could even try a crossflash. Do you have the card already? Then plug it and see what happens. If not, then better look for another card. Check out our wiki.
September 11, 201411 yr Author Thanks for the feedback. I was about to buy it instead of the aoc-sas2lp-mv8 due to price. The supermicro card would cost be nearly double here in Bangladesh. So back to the drawing board, see what else I can come up with...
