dtyree
I've decided to build a new unRAID box to replace my current one. I bought two "USB keys" when i first got going with unRAID so i can use the spare USB for the new one. I'm currently running 4.7 on the old one but I will go with 5.x on the new one. I plan to move the drives from my old one and put them in the new one. I have everything I need except a motherboard. I won't be doing anything other than basic storage so i don't need much. Something with 6-8 onboard SATA ports would be fine. Don't care to much about CPU, Intel or AMD is fine. Any suggestions? Thanks Link to comment
Ford Prefect
..I'd recommend a basic S-1150 mobo, maybe B85 chipset...there are some with intel NIC (which should be supported by v5) and the cheapest, boxed Celeron CPU for that socket. Link to comment
