I recently upgraded to 2.0.

 

I had my front end programs set to my network shares a certain way.

 

For instance, they are all pointing to my disk10. now that i have the new system up, disk 10 is now assigned (by my configuring) to drive 6

 

Can i re-re assign disk6 back to disk 10 (as it was previously) w/o messing up the array or contents on the drive?

If you change disk assignments on the Devices page, as long as you don't change parity, when you go back to Main, is should say:

 

"Start will just record the new disk positions and bring the array on-line."

 

Make a note of your before/after config, and/or save contents of 'config' directory of flash before proceeding.
