Unwanted Reboot

Featured Replies

I am not sure whether this applies to v6, I am running 5.0.5

Using the browser Opera, opening the browser which restores the last session, if the last command was reboot the server, it sends the command and unRAID immediately reboots the server even though the array was not stopped.  I got the Main screen immediately followed by the System Rebooting screen without any user interaction.

There needs to be a check to make sure the array is stopped before doing a reboot.

Moved this to v5 support since you're running v5.  Not that I am encouraging you to try, but did you ever have this happen with another browser type?

No, it's never happened with another browser, it seems to be peculiar to Opera

Very odd indeed. I don't see us fixing it if it only occurs in opera as there are plenty of other browser choices for management, but by design it really shouldn't even be able to do what you described. The first http session emhttp detects on a fresh boot is always supposed to go to the main screen, regardless of what actual URL path is in the address bar.  Not sure how opera is overruling that.

It does open with the main screen, quickly followed by System is rebooting, even though I guess the boxes to enable reboot are not ticked.
