March 21, 201511 yr They also have 3 failures on the 6TB Reds, out of 270. That is a bit more meaningful sample and they report 3.1% failure rate. And the 3TB Reds reporting at 6.9% failure rate. That's right in the middle of other drive failure rates. The one pod of Seagate 6TB has zero failures. But, I wouldn't put much in that small sample either.
