Hello,

 

I'm having some freezes or hangs during a few time when I copy files into an folder and managed in windows. In windows, if you not activate the property "index files" under properties from your hdd then you can see a progress green bar when you open a folder and take some time to finish.

 

So how can I set on unRAID to index the shared folders or files and then starts moving or copying inmediately and not wait to this green progress bar to finish at all?.

 

I see the wiki http://lime-technology.com/wiki/index.php/Improving_unRAID_Performance on the step (Keep directory entries cached) but I don't know if this fixes the problem.
