cj0r
I'm not a Hitachi person but some of you may be and this deal is too good to pass up. I learned about this from the slickdeals website (http://forums.slickdeals.net/showthread.php?threadid=1383897). 2x 1TB Hitachi 16MB Cache 7200 RPM Internal SATA OEM Hard Drives $110 + FS (with eBillMe checkout) If you purchase over $100 at ZipZoomFly and use eBillMe checkout option you get a $30 rebate. Here is link to hard drives: http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=10009440 $75 x2 - $10 (Code ZZFHT805) = $140 $140 - $30 eBillMe rebate = $110 with free shipping Link to eBillMe rebate form: https://ebillme.rebateaccess.com/websubmit.php?p=24741 For everyone with questions about how eBillMe works. It is not a line of credit. You pay directly through your bank account. If your bank account allows online bill payments then you can do this deal. Once you select the eBillMe option and complete checkout a page pops up and tells you exactly what to enter into your bank accounts online bill payment screen. It takes all of 2 minutes to finish this. Also, you just set the exact payment amount and do a one time payment to eBillMe from your bank account. BAM your done. They said the rebate will be mailed within 8 business days and they provide you with a tracking number to check the rebate status. Really this is one of the easiest ways to do a rebate. Much better than have to mail stuff off and waiting for 8 weeks eBillMe does not affect your credit score whatsoever since there's no credit check and you're actually "pushing" money to them from your bank account. I don't even think they see your bank account number (*******1234). I've used eBillMe in the past and didn't have a single issue... if only I can find something on Zipzoomfly that I actually want right now... Link to comment

prostuff1
Great deal...but wish I could get the $10 off the WD Green's instead. Not sure about the 16mb buffer and Hitachi You probably will not notice that much of a difference with the buffer being 16mb vs. 32mb. I can't comment on the Hitachi drives directly but if i needed a couple drives i would probably go for thing deal. Link to comment
PhilH
I have a old Hitachi 320 GB drive in my array. It is quite, cool & fast. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again. Link to comment
