network setup problem

Featured Replies

Hi, I am running 6b14b and when tries to install dmacias plugin I realized I have no connection to internet. I attach a pic of my network setup.

-router1: provides internet access from wan;

-router2: provides lan2 (to pc, unraid1 and unraid2)

I never had problems before with this setup. My pc now has internet without a problem. But my unraid2 cannot ping anything outside the lan. I actually can ping all devices in the lan.

With the same setup I had also Vm´s running on top of unraid2 and they did connect to internet too.

Anyone can give some advice on what should I review?

Rgds.

So you've had VMs running prior to trying to install dmacias' plugin?  What's changed between then and now? Setup a bridge? Although you'd need one to run a VM no?

I had an unclean shutdown due to browser not being accesible. Bridge is created now. The problem is dmacias´s plugin cannot be downloaded.

That's really odd, so did you create the bridge after the shutdown and then lose internet access, the reason I ask is because I've had issues in the past with bridges and changes in IP addresses.... Long story!
