Wiki spammer

We all owe Prostuff1 a big thank you for all of the work he has been doing, zapping spam.  I have to agree with him, this is really getting annoying, very frustrating.  Just check the RecentChanges page, to see all of the work we have had to do over the last few months.  That RecentChanges page only shows the last week or 2, the previous months looked very similar.

I have sent a message, copied in 2 different ways to Tom, and I really hope he will respond.  This is highly unmotivating, to do much more to improve our Wiki.

I don't know if the spammers got tired or what but it appears that something has been done.  I do not see nearly the amount of spam coming down as I use to.  I use to get up in the morning and dread looking at the recent changes page to see how hard it was hit.  Lately I have seen almost NOTHING coming across the page.

I'm not sure if Tom is the one that has stopped this but, Thanks if you have.

This is great, it has now been about 3 weeks with no spam!

I don't know who to thank, whether Tom, or someone working with him, or someone out there that shut these spammers down, but whoever it is, you have my hearty thanks too.
