May 1, 201511 yr Hi all, I have been running unraid with Kodi(XBMC) for years now. I have never had any lag or buffering issues even with the largest files. Starting about a week ago, my large media (mostly MKV) have started to buffer every 10-15 minutes. The buffer lasts for a minute or so and then keeps on or stops playing all together. I have replaced all relevant ethernet cables. There was also some lag/buffering from my wifes laptop while trying to watch some TV shows. What can I do to trouble shoot where this is coming from?
May 4, 201511 yr I dont think anyone will have a solution given the info provided, so tell us more about your setup. I use kodi through a fireTv and have 0 issues. everything is on gigabit ethernet. what hardware are you using? what hardware does your unraid server have? is it wireless or wired. you checked cables, but are there switches involved?
