Glad it's working;  not surprised it was a networking issue => these can be very tricky to isolate, but your brute force [update it all] approach did a good job of fixing it  8) 8)

Yea I mean I could have replaced cable by cable and done testing after each cable replacement but I really didn't have the time to do that since I don't reside at the location where these servers are currently.  And since cables are cheap enough (free for me since I have literally thousands at work) I figured there's no harm in just replacing them all.

 

And in regard to provisioning the additional NIC in ESXi, that was coming down the pipe anyway so these issues just expedited that process.
