I use this as my cache drive and it has done well for me, though I do wish I had a larger cache.  Going to swing by Frys at lunch and pick up another.  For whatever reason, I refuse to buy the cheaper Seagates.

I have a couple of these drives and they perform really well and are very quiet. Silent actually.
