October 9, 200916 yr From what I am reading on the net WD10EAVS (8 MiB cache). ....intended to be sold to OEM manufacturers, but you can buy an individual unit from various sources as long as you don't mind the lack of a warranty.
October 9, 200916 yr Yeah.. the EAVS is what you find when you take apart several retail external 1TB drives.... only 8MB cache and who knows what other shortcuts there are.
