January 9, 201610 yr Hi, I just recently switched to UnRaid and I am loving it. My problem is with docker containers. Whether I am pulling from a template or via terminal using "docker pull" I get speeds that would match around 50kb/s even tough I have a 50Mbit/s line. My docker img has 30GB and resides on /mnt/cache/docker.img and my cache drive is formatted in btrfs (it used to be xfs but using btrfs now adds a little more speed). Downloading owncloud for example took me around 3 hours while using wget to download the git only took seconds. I read about a problem with docker and btrfs but i can't find a way to change that for the docker img. I also tried setting up a new unraid stick but nothing changed. Any ideas what i am doing wrong? Thanks My build: z170n mainboard 32Gig ddr4 3000mhz ram i5-6500 4x6tb wd red (one for parity) samsung 840 pro 250gb sad (cache)
January 9, 201610 yr I suspect that is DockerHub, it sometimes throws a bit of a wobbly... It's likely to be down to the docker site rather than your Unraid machine and normally sorts itself out after a day or two...
January 9, 201610 yr Author Alright thanks for the fast answer. Really like the community and unRaid itself so far! Keep up the good work
January 9, 201610 yr I've always had an issue with speeds from docker hub, always been some what slow on my 40mbit line
