CaptainSpalding
I remember reading discussions that said SSD's were not suitable for unRAID use, but are these really not going to be any good for a server? I would love to have 10 on these instead of 10 3,5" HDD's... Unfortunately, there are two problems with that ... (1) As I understand it, UnRAID doesn't have support for TRIM, so parity may not be properly maintained in this array; and (most importantly) (2) I wasn't one of the winners of the record PowerBall jackpot this week, so I'm a bit short of the funds necessary to buy the drives Link to comment
CaptainSpalding
Prices will come down eventually, but that first part is not going to be solved with time. Or is it? Link to comment

I certainly hope the TRIM issue is resolved => with declining prices of SSDs it's not at all unlikely that folks will want to use SSDs in their arrays. Link to comment
